Common Error Guide

A quick reference for e9Wa system administrators

24h Window Expired

Code: 131047
"Message failed to send because more than 24 hours have passed..."
Why it happens: You tried to send a free-form text message, but the customer hasn't replied in the last 24 hours. WhatsApp requires you to use a Template Message to re-open the conversation.

Message Undeliverable

Code: 131026
"Message Undeliverable"
Why it happens: The phone number might be wrong, not registered on WhatsApp, or the user has blocked your business number. It usually means the message physically cannot reach the device.

Payment Failed

Code: 131042
"Message failed to send because there were errors related to your payment method"
Why it happens: The credit card or payment method attached to the WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) has failed or expired. You need to update payment settings in the Meta Business Manager.

Spam Rate Limit

Code: 131048
"Message failed... restrictions on how many messages can be sent"
Why it happens: Too many users have blocked or reported your messages recently. WhatsApp has temporarily lowered your messaging limit to protect the quality of the ecosystem.

System Rate Limit

Code: 130429
"Rate limit hit"
Why it happens: The system is sending too many messages per second. e9Wa is trying to send faster than your allowed WhatsApp tier permits. Wait a moment and try again.

Account Locked

Code: 131031
"Account has been locked"
Why it happens: The WhatsApp Business Account has been flagged for a serious policy violation or failed a verification check. You must check the "Account Quality" status in Meta Business Manager.
